Growing up in a family of artisans, Daniel Valencia Ferrá was immersed in the art of crafting with care and skill from an early age. Surrounded by the richness of craftsmanship at home, he developed a deep appreciation for design and the harmony between form and function.
Driven by curiosity and determination, Daniel ventured abroad to expand his horizons. In Berlin, he studied Product Design at the University of Arts (UdK), where he transcended traditional boundaries. Embracing the transformative potential of technology, he embarked on a journey to merge time-honored material traditions with cutting-edge innovation, breathing new life into traditional practices.
Today, Daniel and his studio, Digital Craft DVF, are celebrated pioneers in Berlin’s 3D-printed ceramics field. His intuitive understanding of human needs, combined with his ability to transform vision into reality, has forged meaningful relationships with clients and collaborators. This expertise has established him as a trusted consultant and visionary partner within the industry.
Daniel's contributions extend beyond his studio. He participated in a symposium of experts during Madrid Design Week and showcased his latest collection at the London Design Fair 2023. His work has also been recognized by the jury of the Landespreis Gestaltendes Handwerk 2022,solidifying his position as a figure in the contemporary design fabric of the city of Berlin.
